We Are Hiring!.... Inside Sales Representative

We have a great story that our customers love, and now we need your help to spread the message, and help us get to the next sales level. We are looking for an enthusiastic, bright person for a key role in inside sales. Reporting to the Director of Sales, the ideal candidate will be intellectually curious, enjoy discussing and learning about technology, and be willing to perform relentless allying with the direct assistance of a senior sales pro.

A degree or diploma in optics, engineering or physics would be a definite asset, but enthusiasm, a desire to learn, and close new business are the key requirements. We are “born global”, and comprised of industry veterans from Huawei, JDSU, Corning, Avanex and Nortel, with offices located in Shanghai and Ottawa. We combine our academic credentials, such as a PhD from MIT, and an MBA from Cornell-Queen’s, with real world experience. A technical sales job is a great foundation for a variety of career. Not only will you be learning from colleagues, you will be selling to today’s global companies building-out the next generation internet, and tomorrow’s company leaders.

The fine print: Level: Ideal for entry level candidates, or more seasoned professionals looking to get in on the ground floor of a company with big plans Skills Required:

Excellent communication skills in English are a must.  
Gregarious personality, a can-do attitude, tenacity, and fearlessness are also required.
Travel: May be required occasionally, although the majority of the work will be in our Kanata (Ottawa) office.
